What We Accept

We welcome submissions in the following categories:

• Fiction — Literary fiction, upmarket commercial fiction, speculative fiction, magical realism, historical fiction, and character-driven genre fiction
• Creative Nonfiction — Memoir, personal essay collections, narrative nonfiction
• Poetry — Full-length collections and hybrid work
• Experimental & Hybrid Work — Work that blurs genre lines and pushes form

What We Do NOT Accept

• Dark romance or erotica
• AI-generated work (manuscripts must be entirely human-authored)
• Children’s picture books or middle grade fiction
• Self-help, business, or how-to books
• Previously self-published manuscripts
• Simultaneous submissions to multiple publishers without disclosure

Formatting Requirements

• Font: 12pt serif (Times New Roman or Georgia preferred)
• Spacing: Double-spaced body text
• File format: .DOCX or .PDF only
• File naming convention: LASTNAME_TITLE_GENRE.docx (e.g., SMITH_THEGOLDENTHREAD_LITERARYFICTION.docx)
• Your name should NOT appear in the manuscript document itself (blind review)
• Pages must be numbered
